KWARA SET TO TRAIN 1,200 YOUNG WOMEN WITH SECOND CHANCE EDUCATION

Kwara State is empowering over 1,200 adolescent girls and young women, aged 15-25, through the AGILE initiative’s second chance education program aimed at school dropouts. With 20 centres offering literacy, numeracy, and vocational skills, the project gives these young women a fresh start toward self-reliance and poverty reduction.

Officials urge community support to get more girls enrolled, emphasizing that no dream should be left behind. Classes are beginning soon, with each centre able to accommodate 60 participants. Local leaders praise the state government’s commitment to youth empowerment, hoping for many success stories from this vital program.
