NSIA ANNOUNCES NPI 3.0 WINNERS, CELEBRATES NIGERIA’S TOP INNOVATORS
Nigeria’s brightest innovators just got a major boost as the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) unveiled the winners of the third NSIA Prize for Innovation (NPI 3.0). After a fierce pitch session in Abuja, the top three startups—D-Olivette Labs, Promise Point, and GeroCare—walked away with a combined $220,000 in cash and equity. These winners stood out from more than 5,000 applicants shaping change in healthcare, agriculture, and education.
But it doesn’t stop at cash—finalists also snagged $15,000 Cascador Impact Prizes, $5,000 PVAC Healthcare Innovation Prizes, and a free five-week Silicon Valley bootcamp. The real highlight? D-Olivette Labs, creators of AI-powered bio-digesters, clinched a massive $115,000 total haul. Promise Point, an all-woman-led cassava processing game-changer, took home $85,000. Health tech champion GeroCare improved elderly care and earned $55,000.
With extra wins for Mediverse, Sosocare, and FriendsnPal, the NPI 3.0 showcases how Nigerian startups are solving real problems and turning big ideas into bigger impact.
