MINISTRY OF INFORMATION CALLS FOR CALM OVER BADEGGI RADIO SUSPENSION
The Ministry of Information and National Orientation has addressed concerns over Niger State’s directive to suspend Badeggi FM, reminding everyone that regulating broadcasting licenses is the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission’s (NBC) responsibility. Following Governor Bago’s allegations of unethical broadcasting, the state government has formally reported the issue to the NBC.
The Minister urges all stakeholders to stay calm, trusting that the NBC will handle the matter fairly and transparently.
