EGYPT’S MOSTAFA BADR UPSETS DEFENDING CHAMPION AT ITTF AFRICA YOUTH CHAMPS

In a thrilling upset at the ITTF Africa Youth Championships in Lagos, Egypt’s Mostafa Badr dethroned Tunisia’s Essid Wassim in the U-19 singles final with a commanding 4-1 victory. The 19-year-old Egyptian showcased skill and focus, signaling his rise as a new contender in African youth table tennis.

In the girls’ final, Egypt’s Younes Mariam defended her title, beating compatriot Habibat Elbasoumy 4-1 and remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.
