MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR RITUAL KILLING OF STUDENT IN KWARA
A Kwara High Court has sentenced Abdulrahman Bello to death by hanging for the gruesome murder of his girlfriend, Hafsoh Lawal, a final-year student at the College of Education, Ilorin. The judge condemned the act as “wicked and deeply disturbing,” confirming Bello killed Hafsoh with the intent to use her body parts for money rituals. Despite his claims of love, the court ruled it was a trap, showing shocking premeditation and brutality.
