Nigerian pride just hit a new high! The Super Falcons, fresh off their thrilling WAFCON triumph in Morocco, touched down in Abuja where jubilation and cheers greeted the fearless queens of African football.
Monday at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport saw an electrifying scene as Nigeria’s Super Falcons arrived home, heads held high and trophies in hand. Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie shared a proud moment with Coach Justine Madugu, both beaming with victory after a hard-fought tournament. Meanwhile, Captain Rasheedat Ajibade proudly showcased the glittering WAFCON Trophy, a symbol of their tenacity and skill.
The entire team flooded the terminal, fans and officials alike bursting with excitement for the champions’ return. Aviation and Information Ministers Festus Keyamo and Mohammed Malagi were on hand, underscoring the national pride swelling around this historic win.
