CRYPTO WHODUNNIT: CBEX PROMOTER ADEFOWORA ABIODUN GRANTED N20M BAIL
Another alleged bigwig in the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) investment scam, Adefowora Abiodun, just bagged a N20 million bail, but not without some serious strings attached—like finding two landed property owners to vouch for him!
This comes after the EFCC slapped him with an amended eight-count charge, accusing him of sweet-talking investors into a crypto scheme that promised big returns but delivered big losses, totalling millions in USD and Naira from unsuspecting victims. Abiodun, who allegedly ran CBEX without a proper license, had been declared wanted by the EFCC before he surrendered in April 2025, while two other promoters secured N10 million bail each earlier this week .
The judge set November 3 for the trial to kick off, leaving everyone wondering what other twists this crypto saga has in store .
