SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS OF BAYELSA JUDGE CONFESS, LEADER STILL AT LARGE

Eight suspects, including six men and two women, have confessed to kidnapping Bayelsa High Court Judge Ebiyerin Omukoro. They revealed the judge was abducted during a routine patrol and taken to a camp in a neighbouring state, where he was treated carefully due to shared ethnic ties.

While all eight are in DSS custody following a joint security operation backed by Gov. Douye Diri, the gang leader remains on the run. The police commend the governor’s security strategy and warn criminals that Bayelsa is no longer safe for illegal activities.
