KFN PRESIDENT SILAS AGARA ELECTED UFAK 4TH VICE PRESIDENT

Nigeria’s Karate Federation President, Silas Agara, secured the 4th Vice President position at the Union of African Karate Federations (UFAK) Annual General Meeting in Abuja, defeating Congo DRC’s Freddy Kombo with 20 votes.

This election, held during the African Karate Championship in Nigeria, also saw Senegal’s Souleymane Gaye become the new UFAK President. Agara’s win strengthens Nigeria’s influence in African karate as 31 countries compete.
