NIGERIAN ARMY ARRESTS 62 OIL THIEVES, DISMANTLES ILLEGAL REFINERIES IN NIGER DELTA

Troops of the 6 Division Nigerian Army have cracked down hard on oil theft and vandalism, arresting 62 suspects and seizing over 350,000 litres of stolen petroleum across Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Akwa Ibom.

Between July 14-20, soldiers destroyed 14 illegal refining sites, confiscated boats and equipment, and disrupted bunkering supply chains in major hotspots. The Army vows to maintain pressure and deny economic saboteurs freedom of action in the region.
