HANDALL FEDERATION SETS AUGUST 1-18 FOR 2025 NATIONAL DIVISION ONE LEAGUE IN UMUAHIA

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has announced the 2025 National Division One League will run from August 1 to 18 in Umuahia, Abia, with four teams set to earn promotion to the top-tier Ardova Handball Premier League.

Secretary-General Monica Otumala urges teams to complete player registrations by July 31 ahead of the technical meeting on August 7, with matches starting August 8. Defending champions COAS Shooters and Soof Omo Ogiefo currently compete in the premier league after winning last season.
