NUP DENIES PLANNED PROTEST OVER N32,000 PENSION HIKE
The Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP) has dismissed rumours of a protest over the recent N32,000 pension increase, urging members to stay calm.
Deputy President Chief Abdulahi Onu said the leadership supports PTAD’s efforts and President Tinubu’s initiatives, warning against unauthorized protests by splinter groups. He emphasized that any industrial action must have national leadership approval and rejected actions by rogue factions spreading false claims.
