FAAN LAUNCHES PPP COMMITTEE TO BOOST NIGERIAN AVIATION

FAAN is shaking up the aviation sector, rolling out a new PPP committee to supercharge airport investment, modernisation, and job creation!

At the Airport 2025 Business Summit, FAAN announced fresh efforts to attract private sector collaboration—targeting upgrades in terminal management, logistics, tech, security, and green projects for major hubs in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano. Managing Director Olubunmi Kuku emphasized airports as engines of economic growth, saying PPPs will unlock more jobs, innovation, and economic opportunity across Nigeria.

Aero Contractors’ CEO, Capt. Ado Sanusi, also urged government to address multiple taxation on local airlines so the industry survives and thrives. Both FAAN and industry leaders agree: real progress means public and private sectors must join forces and cut red tape for Nigeria’s aviation future to take off.
