In a high-flying display of expertise and camaraderie, the Nigerian Air Force gathered top brass and brainiacs for the grand kickoff of the 2025 Aircraft Engineering Conference—proving that when it comes to aviation, the future is bright and well-engineered.
Abuja played host to the 2025 Aircraft Engineering Conference on Wednesday, July 16, as the Nigerian Air Force showcased its technical prowess and teamwork. Air Vice Marshal Abiola Amodu, Chief of Aircraft Engineering, presented a memorable souvenir to Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, Chief of the Air Staff, marking the official launch of the event.
The occasion also brought together key players, including AVM Iboro Etukudo, Chief of Policy and Plans, notable former Commandants of the Air Force Institute of Technology—retired AVM Abdulganiyu Olabisi and AVM Isyaku Bukar—and a host of participants, all geared up to share insights, strategies, and innovations that keep Nigeria’s skies safe and the fleet flying high.
With brains, experience, and a dash of nostalgia in the air, this conference promises to fuel the Nigerian Air Force’s mission for technical excellence and operational readiness.
