NSCDC Officers Graduate with Sign Language Skills, Breaking Barriers in Abuja
In a move that’s all about communication and inclusion, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officers just levelled up with basic sign language skills. The graduation ceremony, held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Abuja, brought together key figures like Arowolo Ayoola, Founder of Deaf-In-Tech Initiative, NSCDC FCT Commandant Olushola Odumosu, and DSS Director Usman Dauda. The newly trained officers are now better equipped to engage with the deaf community, fostering stronger connections and safer public service.
