DELTA POLICE NEUTRALISE SIX KIDNAPPING SUSPECTS IN FIREFIGHT

Delta Police raided a kidnap gang’s hideout on the Ughelli-Patani Expressway, killing six suspects in a fierce gun battle during a sting operation.

Spokesman SP Bright Edafe revealed the suspects opened fire on officers near Unenurhei Community, leading to multiple casualties. Four locally-made guns and 19 live rounds were seized. Two injured suspects remain hospitalised.
