VIP DEPARTS LONDON WITH BUHARI’S REMAINS
Vice-President Kashim Shettima has left London, carrying the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away Sunday at a London clinic. According to the Vice-President’s media aide, Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima is accompanied by Buhari’s family members as they return to Nigeria for the burial in Daura, Katsina State. A federal delegation, also sent by President Tinubu, is en route back to Nigeria. Today has been declared a public holiday nationwide to honour Buhari during the seven-day mourning period.
