FORMER PRESIDENT BUHARI’S BODY RETURNS HOME: SHETTIMA LEADS MOURNING DELEGATION

Vice-President Kashim Shettima arrived in London today under President Tinubu’s orders to receive the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away after a long illness. Accompanied by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Shettima was welcomed by Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar and Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum. The delegation will bring Buhari’s body back to Daura, Katsina State, for burial. A somber moment for Nigeria as the nation prepares to bid farewell to a former leader.
