AS NIGERIA MOURNS, TINUBU ORDERS STATE BURIAL FOR BUHARI

President Tinubu has formed a high-level committee to organize a state burial for the late Muhammadu Buhari, who died at 82. Chaired by the Secretary to the Government, Senator George Akume, the committee includes top ministers and security chiefs tasked with ensuring a dignified farewell for the former leader. Condolence registers will be opened nationwide for Nigerians to pay respects, with a central register set up in Abuja for diplomats and the public. Preparations are underway for the burial in Daura, Katsina State.
