LAGOS INDUCTS 300 STUDENTS TO FIGHT SEXUAL AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE

Lagos is empowering the next generation to break the silence on sexual and gender-based violence—300 students just joined the Kings and Queens Club to lead the charge!

The Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) inducted students from Education District Five after weeks of training, equipping them as peer educators to challenge harmful gender norms and advocate for respect and safety in schools. Over 7,400 students have been inducted so far, thanks to partnerships like the Ford Foundation.

DSVA leaders urge students to speak out, report abuse, and become champions for a violence-free society. Teachers and students alike praise the initiative for promoting positive change and empowering youth to build safer communities.
