STAKEHOLDERS URGE YOUTHS TO GRAB EMPOWERMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Nigerian youths are urged to ditch shortcuts and seize government empowerment schemes for real, sustainable success.
At a youth restiveness prevention campaign in Ilorin, stakeholders highlighted the wealth of job creation and digital skills programs available nationwide. Kwara NOA Director Abdulganiyu Dare stressed these initiatives aim to make youths financially independent and future employers. Youth Commissioner Musa Ndanusa praised Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq’s youth-focused projects like the Sugar Film Factory and Innovation Hub, designed to boost skills and resourcefulness.
National Directorate of Employment revealed that over 2,200 Kwara youths benefited from federal empowerment programs, urging them to avoid get-rich-quick traps. Security agencies also called for stronger parenting and community policing to curb unrest.
