Farming just got safer in Plateau! Governor Caleb Mutfwang rolls out 150 new NSCDC Agro-Rangers to protect farmers and secure food supply.
At Naton-Fursa, Mutfwang launched the freshly trained Agro-Rangers, adding to the existing team guarding farms across the state. The move aims to safeguard farmers’ journeys and harvests, reinforcing food security and sovereignty. The governor praised the partnership with President Tinubu and security chiefs for tackling Plateau’s security challenges.
NSCDC Commandant General Ahmed Audi hailed the agro-rangers as vital peacekeepers for farming communities, promising to expand the program nationwide.
