During a visit to the NSCDC Command in Ilorin, Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi praised the dedication and discipline of Civil Defence officers, calling them a backbone of Kwara’s peace and security. He urged them to stay vigilant so criminals “find no hiding place in Kwara.”
NSCDC Commandant Umar J.G. Mohammed welcomed the recognition, saying it boosts morale and strengthens their commitment to protecting lives and infrastructure. The government’s ongoing support signals even tighter teamwork ahead in the fight against crime.
