Peace on the horizon for Edu communities as Kwara government steps up security!
Kwara State House of Assembly Speaker Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has vowed to crush the criminals behind recent violent attacks in Edu Local Government Area. After visiting affected villages like Kpandaragi, Bokungi, and Guye Dadi, he assured residents that the government won’t rest until peace is fully restored.
The Speaker highlighted swift action from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who deployed army and forest guards to track down the attackers. Danladi-Salihu urged everyone to stay alert and report suspicious activities to security agencies.
The delegation also paid respects to local traditional rulers, including Etsu Tsaragi and the Emir of Lafiagi, who called for more security support and help for farmers impacted by the violence. The government promised to address these needs and boost both safety and recovery efforts.
With lawmakers and security officials on board, Kwara is doubling down to protect its communities and bring lasting peace.
