ANDREEVA SERVES UP HISTORY WITH WIMBLEDON QUARTER-FINAL BLITZ

Booming serves, cool nerves, and a dash of teenage charm—Mirra Andreeva rockets into her first Wimbledon quarter-final, rewriting the record books at just 18!

Russian seventh seed Mirra Andreeva stunned Centre Court with a commanding 6-2 6-3 win over American Emma Navarro, making her the youngest woman in the Wimbledon last eight since Maria Sharapova in 2005—at exactly the same age. Andreeva’s serve was untouchable, regularly topping 110 mph, and she barely gave Navarro a chance in the opening set.

Despite a brief fightback from Navarro in the second, Andreeva’s power and poise held firm. She even lost track of the score in her excitement, lining up for another point before realizing she’d already sealed the deal. Next up: a showdown with Swiss star Belinda Bencic.
