KADUNA ALLOCATES N5 BILLION FOR WOMEN’S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT IN 2025
Kaduna State has set aside N5 billion in the 2025 budget to fund women’s economic empowerment grants. Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Rabi Salisu, revealed this at the North-West governors’ Nigeria For Women Project Scale-Up Summit in Katsina.

The fund will support over 20,000 women with grants, vocational training, digital literacy, and agricultural support. Programs like Kd-Cares and partnerships with Data Science Nigeria and the World Bank are boosting skills, farming, and job creation, especially for rural women.
