ANAMBRA POLICE: OGBJOJI KILLINGS NOT TARGETED AT EBONYI INDIGENES
Anambra Police have clarified that the recent killing of 10 people in Ogboji, Orumba-South LGA, was not a targeted attack on Ebonyi indigenes, but rather the work of “common enemies of the state.” Police spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga said a suspect is in custody and investigations are ongoing, revealing the violence stemmed from a leadership dispute within the Ebonyi community association.

The police, alongside other security agencies, have assured the public that all those responsible will be brought to justice and urged calm as the investigation continues.
