RAIN OR SHINE, NYSC LEADERSHIP SHOWS UNWAVERING SPIRIT AT KUBWA CLOSING CEREMONY
Braving the rain and refusing to let the weather dampen the mood, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), led the charge at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course at Kubwa orientation camp, Abuja, on Tuesday, July 1. His commitment to service shone through as he stood tall, raincoat and all, embodying the true spirit of dedication.
The ceremony was a proud moment for the prospective corps members, who paraded with pride and enthusiasm, marking the end of their orientation with a display of discipline and unity. Adding to the significance of the event, Mr. Lawal Geidam, representing the Minister of State for the FCT, conducted a thorough inspection of the parade, underscoring the importance of this rite of passage for Nigeria’s youth.
From the rain-soaked grounds to the beaming faces of new corps members, the event was a testament to resilience and service—rain or shine, the NYSC spirit marches on!
