Osayi-Samuel Backs Super Eagles to Bounce Back in World Cup Qualifiers
Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is confident Nigeria can still qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, despite a rocky start in Group C. Currently fourth and trailing leaders South Africa by six points, Osayi-Samuel believes the team’s unity and trust in coach Eric Chelle’s vision will make the difference.
“We just need to win every game. The belief is strong,” he said. He praised Chelle’s tactics and highlighted the team’s solid showing against Russia as proof they’re on the right track.
