BENUE GOV ASSURES SECURITY FOR NYSC CORPS MEMBERS
Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue has guaranteed full security for NYSC members posted to the state. Speaking at the closing of the 2025 Batch A Stream II orientation camp in Wannune, he said extra security personnel have been deployed to vulnerable areas to protect corps members throughout their service year.

Despite recent attacks, Alia vowed his administration will continue working with security agencies to end insecurity. He also warned organizations against rejecting corps members, promising sanctions for defaulters.

NYSC Coordinator Veronica Garba praised the corps for their resilience and urged them to serve selflessly and respect local cultures.
