Nigeria-EU Senior Officials Meeting Set for July 1-2 in Abuja
Foreign Affairs Minister Amb. Yusuf Tuggar announced that Nigeria and the European Union will hold their Senior Officials Meeting in Abuja on July 1-2, 2025. The meeting, co-chaired by Amb. Janet Olisa and EU’s Mathieu Briens, will prepare for the upcoming Nigeria-EU Ministerial Meeting.

Key topics include peace and security, trade, humanitarian issues, human development, technology, migration, energy, climate change, and more. Tuggar emphasized the strong, values-driven partnership between Nigeria and the EU, rooted in multilateralism and international cooperation.
