Valencia CF Secures €322 Million to Build New Nou Mestalla Stadium
Valencia CF has landed €322 million ($377 million) in financing to develop the Nou Mestalla stadium, one of the largest deals ever by a football club in Spain and Europe. The funding includes €237 million in notes and an €85 million short-term loan.
Club President Kiat Lim, son of majority owner Peter Lim, said this greenlights the construction of a world-class stadium with over 70,000 seats, set to open in 2027. The new venue is expected to more than triple current revenue thanks to increased capacity, hospitality, and event hosting.
The club was advised by top firms including Goldman Sachs and received support from La Liga.
