Trump Hints at New Deal with China Amid Trade Talks
U.S. President Donald Trump revealed on Thursday that a deal with China was signed recently, though he didn’t share details. Speaking at the White House, he also hinted at a potential “very big” deal with India.
This comes amid ongoing trade tensions since Trump launched a tariff war with Beijing earlier this year, raising tariffs to as high as 145%. Recent talks showed signs of easing, including possible reductions on rare earth export restrictions.
China has yet to comment on the reported agreement.
