Man Names Alleged Killer in Voice Message Before Fatal Shooting in Northern Israel
A man in Tamra, northern Israel, sent a voice message to his wife naming his alleged killer—his nephew—just before being shot on May 29. Despite serious injuries, the 44-year-old victim managed to walk a few meters before collapsing and later died in hospital.

The 21-year-old suspect tried to flee to the Palestinian Territories after swapping his SIM card but was arrested within hours along with a relative. Police say the crime stemmed from a family dispute.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns over violent crime in Israel’s Arab community, where 125 people have been killed this year amid calls for stronger government action.
