ABUJA COURT ADJOURNS JUDGEMENT ON SENATOR NATASHA AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN’S SUSPENSION CASE

Abuja Court Adjourns Judgment on Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Suspension Case to July 4
The Federal High Court in Abuja has postponed the judgment in Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suit challenging her suspension by the Senate, moving the ruling to July 4 due to the judge’s absence. Justice Binta Nyako will also decide on contempt claims and a jurisdictional objection filed by the defendants, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Akpoti-Uduaghan seeks to reverse her six-month suspension over alleged misconduct related to a Senate investigation. An earlier interim order restraining the Senate from acting was vacated after accusations of judicial bias.

The case remains closely watched as it unfolds.
