Rainstorm Ravages Schools and Staff Quarters in Katsina’s Funtua Zone
Katsina State Government reports severe damage to schools and staff housing in the Funtua zone after a heavy rainstorm. Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hajiya Zainab Musa-Musawa, expressed sympathy for affected staff and families and assured ministry support.
She urged schools to maintain academic activities and attendance despite the challenges. The ministry is currently assessing the damage and will update on recovery plans soon.
