TROOPS CRACK KIDNAP RING IN KWARA, RESCUE VICTIMS IN BOLD RAID

Kwara’s safety just got a major boost! Nigerian Army troops swooped in on a kidnap gang near Latandaji Village, freeing two victims and arresting eight suspects in a swift, no-nonsense operation.
In a daring Saturday raid led by the 22 Armoured Brigade in Patigi LGA, soldiers acted on solid intel to smash a kidnap hideout. After a brief firefight, the troops subdued the gang, rescued Mr. Amos Moses and Mr. Philip Michael, and nabbed eight suspects—one wounded and now receiving medical care.
Recovered evidence includes two motorcycles and spent cartridges, linking the gang to multiple crimes. All detainees are under military custody, set for prosecution.
The army vows to keep up the pressure, promising Kwara communities a safer future free from kidnappers and criminals.
