Oyo APC Slams Gov. Makinde Over N63.5 Billion Government House Renovation
Oyo APC has called on Governor Seyi Makinde to stop the N63.5 billion Government House renovation, labeling it wasteful and out of touch with the state’s economic reality. The party also criticized the N14.3 billion airport upgrade and the plan to buy two aircraft for security, warning these could fuel corruption rather than improve safety.
APC pointed out that the Government House was last refurbished in 2017 and accused the administration of favoring lavish projects over the people’s needs, recalling past scandals like the overpriced exercise books in 2019.
